Nestled in the heart of the city, the apartment is located within a tranquil tree lined street with a beautiful central garden. The property boasts of a significant architectural heritage, evident from its traditional Georgian white brick exterior.
Spread across two floors, with generous volumes throughout the interiors are sleek, simple, and honest. The living areas retain many original, redefined details from intricate Georgian cornices and ceiling roses to the boiserie panelled doors - the use of marble echoes the buildings history while anchoring a modern sensibility.
It was decided early on into the project that the interiors were to be kept bright, white, and textured. The white backdrop is relieved by a dark smoked reclaimed chevron timber floor salvaged from old buildings in Paris.
With a neutral palette throughout, our main focus was on craftsmanship mixing textures and colours through furniture and artwork to bring the scheme together. By mixing more contemporary pieces with vintage finds, alongside bespoke items designed and made by Pirajean Lees as part of our Editions Collection, we were able to create an environment that is inviting. Whilst remaining true to the belief that a home should be a calming space which allows you time to dwell, pause and enjoy.
