FF&E DESIGNER
Hospitality and residential - Mid-Weight to Senior
We are looking for a full-time creative, qualified and skilled FF&E designer with previous strong experience in FF&E for interior design projects, within high-end UK practices. A designer who shares our interest in materials and details, able to approach each project with a fresh perspective. You will join our creative team, to work primarily on high-end restaurants and bars internationally and secondly on private residential projects.
The responsibilities will include:

Create, develop and manage FF&E projects from conception to completion, collaborating with the project team, including the Interior Designers, Architects and studio co-founders
-
Generate ideas and concept development
-
Ensure integration of FF&E within the interior design scheme through FF&E CAD layouts.
-
Source new items and vintage pieces
-
Design, develop and draw bespoke pieces
-
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers and purchasing agents
-
Research and sourcing: references, materials, finishes, fabrics
-
Research new suppliers and manufacturers
-
Review budgets, quotes and orders
-
Review shop drawings, samples and prototypes
-
Prepare and attend client presentations
-
Prepare specification sheets, schedules, costs
-
Assist during delivery, installation and handover
-
Opportunity to research and design for Pirajean Lees Editions

Training of Junior FF&E team members
The candidates should have the following experience:
-
Degree in Interior Design or Product Design (BA minimum)
-
5+ proven years’ experience in FF&E Design, including 2+ years in a similar position
-
Previous employment at a high-end UK based practice, working on hospitality projects.
Required skills:

Creative and practical knowledge

Strong attention to detail and precision

Strong knowledge of the design industry, suppliers, manufacturers, fairs, markets

Knowledge of the UK regulations and UK project stages

Able to manage relations with clients, suppliers and purchasing agents

Professional, proactive and dedicated approach

Excellent presentation and communication

Able to work within a team and independently, to tight deadlines
Must be fluent in:

INTERIOR ARCHITECT / INTERIOR DESIGNER
Hospitality - Mid-Weight
We are looking for a full-time skilled and creative mid-weight interior designer or interior architect. A designer who shares our interest in materials and details, able to approach each project with a fresh perspective, qualified, talented, confident designer, with previous strong experience in restaurant projects, within high-end UK practices. You will join our creative team, to work primarily on high-end restaurants and bars internationally and secondly on private residential projects.
The responsibilities will include:

Create and develop projects from conception to completion, with the senior team and in direct relation with the co-founders of the studio

Generate ideas and concept development

Develop and detail interior layouts

Produce technical drawings packs and tender packages
-
Research and source fittings and materials
-
Prepare schedules of materials and fittings

Prepare client presentations

Assist with delivery, installation and handover
The candidates should have the following experience:

Degree in Architecture or Interior Design (BA minimum)

5+ proven years’ experience in Interior Design, including 2+ years in a similar position
-
Previous employment at a high-end UK based practice working on restaurant and hospitality design

INTERIOR ARCHITECT / INTERIOR DESIGNER
Junior
We are looking for a full-time skilled and creative junior interior designer or interior architect. A designer who shares our interest in materials, textures and details, able to approach each project with a fresh perspective. Qualified, talented, confident, with the desire to learn and grow in our team. You will join our creative team, to work primarily on high-end restaurants and bars internationally and secondly on private residential projects.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects and will be an integral part of the team.
The responsibilities will include:

Assist the team with design stages and presentations including conceptual research, image sourcing, hand-sketching, 3D modelling
-
Prepare presentations
-
Assist the team with drawings packages, ranging from master plans to smaller architectural and joinery interior details
-
Paper filing and recording all project documentation
-
Prepare schedules
-
Research and sourcing: references, materials, finishes and fabrics
-
Research new suppliers and manufacturers
-
Order samples and document / store them within the material library
Key requirements:
-
The candidate must have a minimum 18 months relevant experience and can demonstrate an understanding of luxury/high-end hospitality or private residential projects
-
Confident communication skills, ability to present ideas to the studio co-founders and design team and liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients.

Strong conceptualisation skills along
-
Knowledge of interior design and furniture design
-
Competent in preparing cad drawings packages
-
Strong organisational skills
-
Excellent knowledge of design detailing and specifications
-
Knowledge of the UK regulations and UK project stages
-
On-site experience preferable
