ABOUT THE AUDIO RUG
Inspired by Chladni patterns, the RG07 Audio Rug translates the way sound shapes matter; how vibration draws sand into intricate geometries. A surrounding moiré motif echoes the fluidity of waveforms, capturing the undulating movement of sound as it travels through space.
Woven by artisans in India, the rug preserves and supports local weaving traditions. It is handcrafted from luxurious New Zealand wool with subtle accents of bamboo silk that introduce a soft, luminous sheen. Together, these qualities give the piece a tactile richness and a sense of meaningful craftsmanship.
Rendered in rich tones, the design creates a mesmerising sense of rhythm and movement, grounding a space in both place, texture and tone.
