ABOUT THE BOOKENDS
On a sourcing trip to a London stone yard, we discovered an abandoned block of onyx whose warmth, depth and natural character immediately drew us in. With no predetermined plan for the material, we chose to give it a second life.
The ACC01 Bookends were shaped directly from the geometry of that original block, their form designed to make full use of the stone’s innate qualities. By tailoring the silhouette to the material, each pair reflects the unique veining and presence of the onyx from which it was cut.
Each piece is diamond-cut in London, and then finished by hand with every edge rounded and polished to perfection.
