The SO02 Sofa is a modular design whose faceted form introduces a quiet, architectural quality to a room. The modules can be arranged to create flexible compositions, adapting to their setting with refined ease.

 

Handcrafted using traditional upholstery methods, the modular sofa is built around individually tensioned springs. Each spring is tied and balanced by hand, with every knot finessed to determine its precise tension. This method, rooted in time-honoured craftsmanship and shaped by expert makers, gives the sofa its distinctive comfort and longevity.

 

Shown here, upholstered in Monsieur Baudelaire cotton velvet, with an exceptionally long, dense pile that creates a rich tactile softness which is irresistible to caress. 

 

Complemented with double-sided cushions that when turned, allow the perception of the sofa to shift instantly. One side features a patchwork Jacquard, woven with a fine metallic thread, giving it a subtly luminous texture and overstitching that recalls couture detailing. The reverse is crafted from rare and precious ‘Adorabile’ baby alpaca yarns, offering an elegant, warm and delicately smooth finish. The composition is completed with Pin Rouche braid, adding a final line of refined texture.
