A relaxed family home in the Moroccan countryside, surrounded by farms, mud houses and ruins. The vernacular architecture and surrounding landscape of Ziad played a pivotal role in the techniques used in the construction stages.
Inspired by local historic craftsmen, natural, artisanal traditional Moroccan materials were used, such as ‘pisé’ (mud and straw) walls, tadelakt (polished plaster), dos, hand-cut local stone, bricks and timber.

Generous interior volumes evoke a playfulness with the scale of the openings and windows; whether seated in a window snook or lounge you are immersed in picturesque views of the gardens and the Atlas.
