​​              A relaxed family home in the Moroccan countryside, surrounded by farms, mud houses and ruins. The vernacular architecture and surrounding landscape of Ziad played a pivotal role in the techniques used in the construction stages.

​​              Inspired by local historic craftsmen, natural, artisanal traditional Moroccan materials were used, such as ‘pisé’ (mud and straw) walls, tadelakt (polished plaster), dos, hand-cut local stone, bricks and timber.
